Are you an early adopter?

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]If I could link you to the program that has the potential to transform the early life experience of all our children on the south island to where they become a generation of well grounded, empowered, and self-resourced people,

Would you be interested?[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”144″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”143″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Back in the 1970s finding a good quality sleeping bag was simply a different kettle of fish than it was today.
In the first half of that decade, the year I met my partner, she also looking for a good sleeping bag which in those days was called a down filled mummy bag. Walmart had only been open a couple of years and Bezos hadn’t even moved into the house with the garage that became Amazon.

So mostly one would go to Seattle to a funny little store called REI. But things improved north of the Medicine Line in 1973 when Mountain Equipment Coop moved to a place on 4th Avenue and began sending out catalogues.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]And so, that is where she ended up, and along with it a MEC membership number in the low hundreds. Today, while MENC Mountain Equipment (not a) Coop has become a cautionary tale for the cooperative movement everywhere, she does get a little kick out of buying something there, and the clerk has to  look at her membership number three times before being able to speak. Sort of like being complimented on a fresh nail job. (at least for me).
If I understand correctly, our children will cast dice at her passing on who inherits it.
A simple, personal vanity. There is no good reason for it and in a world sliding somewhere it no more than a moment of silliness.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”147″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”142″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][vc_single_image image=”149″ img_size=”full”][vc_custom_heading text=”We are certified Marie Mongan HypnoBirthing® Educators” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:14|text_align:left|color:%237100e2″ google_fonts=”font_family:Architects%20Daughter%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Ftvine.ca%2Fgroups%2F|title:Groups”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][vc_single_image image=”150″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Click here to find out about how every person can have a comfortable, instinctive birthing experience” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:14|text_align:left|color:%237100e2″ google_fonts=”font_family:Architects%20Daughter%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Ftvine.ca%2Fgroups%2F|title:Groups”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Perhaps however, it is those simple moments of self-care, that are most important.
